Community Guidelines Explainer Series
- We prohibit the promotion, distribution, or sharing of pornographic content. This also extends to commercial activities that are linked to pornography or sexual interactions (either online or offline). However, breastfeeding and other portrayals of nudity in non-sexual contexts are generally allowed.
- We strictly prohibit any activity that entails the sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor. This includes sharing imagery related to child sexual exploitation or abuse, grooming, or sexual extortion (sextortion). We report all instances of child sexual exploitation to the authorities, including attempts to engage in such conduct. Never post, save, send, forward, distribute, or solicit for nude or sexually explicit content involving anyone under the age of 18 (this includes sending or saving such images of yourself).
Overview
Our goal is to shield all Nivafy users from harmful or abusive content. To achieve this, we’ve established our Community Guidelines with the objective of ensuring that users can freely express themselves and communicate on Nivafy, without being subjected to unsolicited sexual content or abuse. These policies ban the sharing, promotion, or distribution of sexually explicit content – covering a spectrum of content from pornography and sexual nudity to offers of sexual services – and sternly condemn any content that exploits children.
What you should expect
Our policies against sexually explicit content mean that pornographic material is disallowed. Pornography refers to nudity where the main intent is sexual arousal, or nudity that depicts sexual arousal. It could include photos, videos, or even hyper-realistic animations, drawings, or other representations of explicit sexual acts. However, it does not apply to nudity whose purpose is artistic expression, or the display of nudity in non-sexual contexts like breastfeeding, medical procedures, or current or historical events of public interest.
These policies also disallow offers of sexual services, encompassing both offline services (such as, for instance, erotic massage) and online experiences (like, for example, offering sexual chat or video services).
The sexual exploitation of any community member, particularly minors, is illegal, intolerable, and strictly prohibited. Exploitation may include sex trafficking; attempts to coerce or lure users into providing nudes; as well as any conduct that uses intimate imagery or sexual material to pressurize or threaten our community members. We ban any communication or behavior that tries to persuade or manipulate a minor with the intent of sexual abuse or exploitation, or that uses fear or shame to silence a minor.
How we enforce these policies
Content that breaches our Community Guidelines will be subject to removal. Users who share, promote, or distribute violating content will be notified of the infraction. Severe or repeated violations of our policies will affect a user’s account access.
If you ever receive or see a post that you believe is sexually explicit — if you feel uncomfortable in any way — do not hesitate to use our in-app reporting menu. These reports are reviewed for action in a manner that helps protect the privacy and safety of the reporting users. We also encourage users to consider blocking any unwelcome messages.
Our high-reach content, including story, highlights, Realize Dream, and explore are subject to proactive monitoring and additional safeguards. These platforms may occasionally feature suggestive content that is not considered sexually explicit (for example, revealing swimwear); however, users are strongly encouraged to report any content that you feel contradicts our Community Guidelines.
Preventing, identifying, and eliminating Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) on our platform is a top priority for us, and we continuously enhance our capabilities to deal with CSAM and other types of children sexually exploitative content.
